Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the US. After becoming famous through his performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor was featured in over 20 feature films, including The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 television series like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely resilient fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer was cured. The treatment, however, at this early stage left severe impact on his body, and hindered his growth. Since he grew up in poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. In an interview, he mentioned that if I do not have financial stability or I have a feeling of being out of touch with the world, then I'm going to be unhappy. In an interview the actor also discusses his own childhood. He is determined to put an end to bullies. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. He claims that his dream character would be father figures in reality and in film. He isn't chosen by the director to play those parts, but he says. He'd like to have a kid so that he could devote much less of his time to more attention to the child.
